Wimberly Arts Fest

We have been invited to play the Wimberly Arts Fest today, April 24th at 5:00 p.m.

Open Mic at Hemisphere

After a well received gig at Hemisphere, we have the pleasure of returning every 4th Friday of the month to host an open mic. All are welcome! For those of you musicians in Hill Country, you will find this location very convenient. What a great opportunity to hang out, meet other musicians and try out your new tunes or even some covers, in a place with a cool vibe. Oh and Hemisphere also serves delicious food and desserts as well as coffee, wine and beer.

Playing the Redbud Cafe

We're hitting the road and playing our blend of acoustic pop-rock originals and covers for the folks in Blanco. We will be performing at the Redbud Cafe on Saturday March 20, from 7 to 9 pm. This is a new restaurant and pub that opened just a few months ago. They have a full dinner menu and even serve beer that is brewed right in Blanco.

It sure has been a while since our last show (not counting hosting our open mics).

More Drum Loops

Drum Loops

One thing that's keeping us busy at our studio is editing and mixing drum loops. For those not familiar with the concept, these loops are pieces of a drum performance (about 4 bars each) that you can put together to create drum parts for your own songs. The drums were played by our friend Ron Wikso (Foreigner, Cher, David Lee Roth, Gregg Rolie and many more). If you are a musician that would like to have a world class drummer play on your tunes but can't afford it; this is the next best thing. Check out the loops at the Total Control Audio store.

Bloggin' Away

We had a website and that became tough to keep up on. Thinking about it now, that feels dated. When we learned about the blog, it seemed like a good idea to have a very simple site that we could make random entries, let everyone know what we're up to, get some feedback and just be more connected. We're thinking of the blog as kind of a home base and have links to all the other networking sites.

Open Mic

We're taking a break from steady gigging for a bit but we are hosting a singer-songwriter open mic at Maui Wowi in Wimberley, Texas. It's every 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It's a fun way for us to get to know local and visiting musicians in the area. So if you are a musician come on down and play a few tunes and if not, come by and listen to some great local artists over a nice cup of java. We'd love to meet you.
